Als Data Quality & Governance Lead maak je deel uit van het Data Office team, verantwoordelijk voor data governance, datakwaliteitscontrole en de ontwikkeling van business intelligence oplossingen voor het RIZIV.Je taken omvatten:.

As Data Governance Expert within our Data & Analytics team, you play an instrumental role in the realization of this vision by setting up and improving SNCB’s data governance framework and providing guidance and support in its roll-out.

Role & Responsibilities

• You provide vision/guidance on all dimensions of SNCB’s data governance framework (data operating model, data roles & responsibilities, data governance bodies, business glossary, data catalog, data quality policy, data privacy policy,) – you make sure the framework is aligned with the company’s strategic objectives and needs.
• You develop SNCB’s data governance framework in collaboration with all relevant business and IT stakeholders
• You communicate and explain SNCB’s data governance framework within business and IT
• You provide the necessary support, coaching and training to business and IT during the roll-out of SNCB’s data governance framework – you have special attention is required to make sure the business understand their new (operational) roles (data owner, data steward)
• You pro-actively challenge (the realization of) the data governance framework to make it evolve where/when required
• You lead and participate to data governance communities within and outside of SNCB
• You follow-up up on data governance operations, insuring data governance deliverables and information are of quality and up-to-date – in particular, you monitor information contained in the data catalog and data quality tools.
• You place special focus on the governance of master data
• You report and address any data governance issues that need particular attention.
• You assess Data Quality at the enterprise level and define you clear action plans addressing the needs,
• You identify Data Privacy issues and propose corrective actions
• You propose improvements on data literacy and you provide trainings where/when needed

Als Data Quality & Governance Lead, maak je deel uit van het Data Office team, dat verantwoordelijk is voor data governance, kwaliteitscontrole van data en de ontwikkeling van business intelligence-oplossingen voor het RIZIV.Je rapporteert aan de Data Governance Manager.
Je speelt een actieve rol bij het opzetten van het programma voor data governance en datakwaliteit binnen het RIZIV.
Je werkt nauw samen met de data stewards van de Business Unit om business glossaries op te stellen en metadata te beheren binnen een datacatalogus.
Je speelt een actieve rol in het opzetten en beheren van tools voor data governance,metadata managementen, meer specifiek, data quality management.
Je ondersteunt het team dat verantwoordelijk is voor het valideren van de kwaliteit van de gezondheidszorggegevens die komen van verzekeringsinstellingen (ziekenfondsen).
Je bent ook betrokken bij het opzetten van continue verbeteringsprocessen voor de kwaliteit van masterdata en operationele data, in samenwerking met de data stewards van de Business.Je zet indicatoren op voor datakwaliteit en governance.
Af en toe word je gevraagd om gegevensanalyses uit te voeren op vraag van externe actoren zoals de Kankerregistratie, universiteiten, de NBB en de OESO.
Dankzij regelmatig contact met de data-experts in de business ontwikkel je voortdurend een goede kennis van de inhoud van de gezondheids- en vergoedingsgegevens die het RIZIV beheert.
