Your mission ?

The Technical Coordinator will primarily focus on the coordination of technical operations.This role is essential for ensuring that their operations run smoothly and that project deliverables meet the high standards our clients expect.

Your main responsabilities ?

  • Intervention coordination: Support in managing dispatch of service requests, balancing between immediate technical interventions and planned project engagements ;
  • Operational oversight: Oversee the progress and timely execution of after-sales services and technical projects, ensuring they adhere to planned outcomes and quality standards ;
  • Resource allocation: Ensure the appropriate allocation of technical resources, making certain that projects are well-equipped and teams are prepared to meet client needs effectively ;
  • Project support: Act as a central point for collecting and centralizing technical requests and feedback, aiding in the development of a comprehensive knowledge base ;
  • Performance analysis: Monitor and report on technical project performance using KPIs and other metrics, providing insights for continuous operational improvement ;
  • Communication facilitator: Ensure clear and effective communication within the technical team, and with cross-functional stakeholders, organizing regular update meetings and information sharing sessions ;
  • Project documentation: Coordinate and ensure the accuracy and completeness of project documentation, aligning with company standards and client expectations.

Robert Half is currently recruiting an IT Helpdesk Assistant for a company located in the Brussels region.

Our client is an international not-for-profit organisation founded over 20 years ago.

As an IT Helpdesk Assistant you are providing support and technical aid to team members while assisting the IT Developer & Network Coordinator and the IT department across various tasks.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Act as the initial point of contact to address queries via IT tickets, chat, email, phone, or in-person interactions.
  • Diagnose, investigate, and resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Escalate unresolved problems to appropriate resources if unable to resolve independently.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as system updates, patches, and backups.
  • Monitor system performance and promptly address alerts or emerging issues.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control.
  • Configure and deploy new devices for users.
  • Troubleshoot hardware problems and coordinate necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Initiate contact with IT suppliers, comparing prices and ordering new equipment as required.
  • Maintain an inventory of hardware assets.
  • Prepare user workstations, ensuring proper setup including computers, monitors, keyboards, docking stations, and cable management.
  • Document troubleshooting steps and solutions for common issues.
  • Provide IT induction training for new employees.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for users on IT tools, applications, and best practices.
  • Assist with IT projects such as software upgrades, hardware migrations, and system integrations.
