As a Solution Designer, you are part of the team Analysis & Solution Design, department Solution Delivery SPS (Sales, Passenger & Security Information).

  • Review high level solution created by Solution Architect and Provide feedback based on current implementation of impacted systems and industry best practices
  • Detail high level solution produced by Solution Architect and document for the use of development team, infra team, 3rd party vendors and other stake holder’s involved
  • Identify technical components of the solution.This means producing a modular, reusable and flexible design.
  • Identify optimal hosting platform requirements for each non-prod and prod environments.
  • Design/Identify interfaces and connection types between components in alignment with general interaction principles.
  • Detail security implementation required for the solution.
  • Detail Disaster Recovery solution for the application when needed
  • Produce detailed design diagrams such as
    • State transition diagrams
    • Class diagrams
    • Sequence Diagrams
    • Network connectivity diagrams
    • ER diagrams
  • Design APIs that are exposed from the solution in line with API guidelines of customer enterprise and industry best practices.
  • Ensure that solution implementation adhere to technology, infra and security standards of customer enterprise
  • Review non-functional test results and do the necessary adaptations to solution design
  • Participate in Technical reviews and guide development teams
  • Support interfacing applications in their solution discussions
  • Any other solution design activities specific for the application in scope

As a Solution Architect, most of your work involves working closely with company customers to understand their business requirements and design IT solutions based on the Inetum Service.Now portfolio that meet their needs while ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.You will lead a team of consultants and developers in delivering these solutions and identify opportunities for new offerings or reusable artefacts.Additionally, you will create reusable assets to improve delivery efficiency and quality, streamlining the process and working closely with rest of Architecture Practice and all relevant stakeholders to achieve your goals.
 
YOUR FOCUS: 
 

  • Work closely with company customers to understand their business requirements and translate them into an IT solution following best practices.
  • Lead workshops to gather customer requirements and advise on potential solutions.
  • Design and configure applications, integrations, and workflows based on the company services portfolio to meet customer needs, ensuring that they are designed with a focus on scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Lead a team of consultants and developers in the implementation and delivery of IT solutions, ensuring that they meet customer requirements and quality standards.
  • Identify solutions from customer engagements which are suitable candidates for transforming them into reusable packages/artifacts.
  • Work closely with the Business Process Consultancy team to define the most suitable Business Process over Technical Capabilities of the platform.
  • Work closely with the Sales team to identify opportunities for new IT solutions and provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the sales cycle.
  • Develop and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to prospective customers and collaborate with the Sales team to develop proposals and estimates.
  • Contribute to building the company delivery practices in connection to its existing/future services portfolio.
  • Work on stories to create re-usable packages/artifacts, which can minimize delivery time for repeatable engagements and improve the quality of deliverables.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest solution features and functionalities based on the company service portfolio, and provide recommendations for their use to customer and internal teams.
  • Participate in pre-sales activities, including proposal development and presentations to potential clients.
  • Collaborate with other architects and technical leads to ensure the IT solution is integrated with other systems and platforms as needed.
  • Analyze potential issues and present written or verbal suggestions for solutions.
  • Define high and low-level solution designs.
  • Independently work with the customer, understand, and translate requirements into features and user stories.
  • Clarify client's system specifications and understand their work practices. 
  • Suggest and execute implementation best practices, where relevant.
  • Create necessary documentations such as design documents, functional specifications and/or test suites.
  • Assist and help customers take ownership of implemented solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • It's your responsibility to ensure that the architecture of the products you're assigned to is sound, well-understood and continues to evolve in a direction that best support the business case and follows the existing guardrails.
  • To a great extent, that means facilitating the architectural debate, ensuring the architectural decisions are made consciously and its trade-offs (or derived risks) are well understood, both internally (towards the involved teams) as externally (towards our client's stakeholders).
  • You're a key partner that works between enterprise / domain architecture and the solution designers / tech leads.
  • You ensure that the solution that is approved by the board is correctly implemented by validating the solution design and following up its implementation.
  • You also ensure knowledge is shared across your colleagues.
  • You evaluate project constrains to find alternatives, alleviate risks, and perform re-engineering if required
  • You update stakeholders about any issues connected to the architecture

As Data Engineer within our Data Factory team, you play an instrumental role in the realization of this vision by building our data platform.

Your responsibilities and skills are the following:

  • You contribute to the design and implementation of the Azure data platform.
  • You develop and deploy end-to-end data applications leveraging the Azure data platform.
  • You have experience with Azure data analytics services (Data Factory, ADLS, Synapse, SQL Server, Databricks, ML).
  • You are familiar with data technologies (spark, python/pandas, SQL).
  • You have knowledge of state-of-the-art software engineering best practices and tools (Git, CI/CD, tests, Pipelines, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Azure Dev.Ops).
  • You are familiar with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform).
  • You work with Data Architects and Platform Architects to ensure your work is aligned with the requirements and architecture.
  • You work with the Security & Infrastructure teams to ensure data assets and data products are integrated and secured.
  • You work independently, prioritize multiple stakeholders and tasks, and manage work time effectively.
  • You participate to the definition of standards, guidelines and best practices and make sure to respect them.
  • You remain up to date with latest trends and technologies and identify potential impact of market trends in your tasks.
