As a Solution Architect, most of your work involves working closely with company customers to understand their business requirements and design IT solutions based on the Inetum Service.Now portfolio that meet their needs while ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.You will lead a team of consultants and developers in delivering these solutions and identify opportunities for new offerings or reusable artefacts.Additionally, you will create reusable assets to improve delivery efficiency and quality, streamlining the process and working closely with rest of Architecture Practice and all relevant stakeholders to achieve your goals.
 
YOUR FOCUS: 
 

  • Work closely with company customers to understand their business requirements and translate them into an IT solution following best practices.
  • Lead workshops to gather customer requirements and advise on potential solutions.
  • Design and configure applications, integrations, and workflows based on the company services portfolio to meet customer needs, ensuring that they are designed with a focus on scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Lead a team of consultants and developers in the implementation and delivery of IT solutions, ensuring that they meet customer requirements and quality standards.
  • Identify solutions from customer engagements which are suitable candidates for transforming them into reusable packages/artifacts.
  • Work closely with the Business Process Consultancy team to define the most suitable Business Process over Technical Capabilities of the platform.
  • Work closely with the Sales team to identify opportunities for new IT solutions and provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the sales cycle.
  • Develop and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to prospective customers and collaborate with the Sales team to develop proposals and estimates.
  • Contribute to building the company delivery practices in connection to its existing/future services portfolio.
  • Work on stories to create re-usable packages/artifacts, which can minimize delivery time for repeatable engagements and improve the quality of deliverables.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest solution features and functionalities based on the company service portfolio, and provide recommendations for their use to customer and internal teams.
  • Participate in pre-sales activities, including proposal development and presentations to potential clients.
  • Collaborate with other architects and technical leads to ensure the IT solution is integrated with other systems and platforms as needed.
  • Analyze potential issues and present written or verbal suggestions for solutions.
  • Define high and low-level solution designs.
  • Independently work with the customer, understand, and translate requirements into features and user stories.
  • Clarify client's system specifications and understand their work practices. 
  • Suggest and execute implementation best practices, where relevant.
  • Create necessary documentations such as design documents, functional specifications and/or test suites.
  • Assist and help customers take ownership of implemented solutions.
  • Contribute to developing company services portfolio with knowledge management and improvement suggestions;

Key responsibilities

In your new role as Consolidation Manager, you will be responsible for preparing the consolidation (scope of around 20 entities) and monthly reporting in accordance with US Gaap, including the balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement and Equity Roll Forward.You will report directly to the Consolidation & Reporting Director.

Your main responsibilities as a Consolidation Manager will be:

  • Consolidation of the company in accordance with US Gaap and monthly reporting to international headquarters
  • Produce supporting documentation and explanations to the external auditor for the consolidated annual report prepared in accordance with US Gaap
  • Monthly consolidation and reporting of the company's subsidiaries in EMEA and APAC in accordance with US Gaap:
    • Examine the completeness of reporting files (around 20 entities)
    • Consolidate the monthly financial position and income statement
    • Consolidate the monthly cash flow statement
    • Reconciliation of intercompany transactions and balances
  • Support local teams responsible for reporting on their packages, as well as users taking part in the consolidation process
  • Reconcile and check with the treasury department the financial result and net debt of the monthly consolidation
  • Coordinate with other members of Group Accounting to improve knowledge of reporting

Role & Responsibilities

  • You provide vision/guidance on all dimensions of SNCB’s data governance framework (data operating model, data roles & responsibilities, data governance bodies, business glossary, data catalog, data quality policy, data privacy policy,) – you make sure the framework is aligned with the company’s strategic objectives and needs.
  • You develop SNCB’s data governance framework in collaboration with all relevant business and IT stakeholders
  • You communicate and explain SNCB’s data governance framework within business and IT
  • You provide the necessary support, coaching and training to business and IT during the roll-out of SNCB’s data governance framework – you have special attention is required to make sure the business understand their new (operational) roles (data owner, data steward)
  • You pro-actively challenge (the realization of) the data governance framework to make it evolve where/when required
  • You lead and participate to data governance communities within and outside of SNCB
  • You follow-up up on data governance operations, insuring data governance deliverables and information are of quality and up-to-date – in particular, you monitor information contained in the data catalog and data quality tools.

Within the CISO department, the Identity, Credential & Access Management (ICAM) team exists alongside the Cyber Centre of Excellence and GRC Office teams.The ICAM team, together with external partners, manages the critical identity and access management architecture that ensures that our travelers and our staff and partners can access the applications they need, day in and day out, in an efficient and secure manner.This team also oversees the identity and access management processes.

 

Key Activities
 

People management
 

  • Ensure clear governance, including roles and responsibilities, accountability and delegation of tasks within their team.
  • Coach and steers the team where necessary and guides individual team members in their personal development together with the CISO and the HR business partner.
  • Recruit and hire new ICAM team members with the right qualifications, knowledge and skills.
  • Is the first escalation point for the team member of the ICAM team.

Financial and capacity management

  • Determine yearly budget (OPEX and CAPEX) together with the experts and the CISO and closely follow up on it through KPI’s, metrics and reporting.
  • Manage the necessary capacity planning for OPEX activities and projects.

Service management

  • Create, maintain and improve a capability and service overview/ catalogue owned by the ICAM team
  • Maintain all aspect of the lifecycle management of these capabilities and services:
    • Design, formalize, implement KPI’s and metrics for each capability and underlying service.
    • Identify and escalate operational, financial and quality risks.
    • Create new services or improve existing services in order to meet a customer or business need, always driving by creating added value.
    • Guard and coordinate the technical quality and operational efficiency and effectiveness of the daily operations.
    • Monitor external suppliers required for providing the services.
    • Report to (internal) customer (KPI reporting, planning, capacity, quality)

Project management

  • Translate new services into concrete projects together with the program manager and lead expert to launch the necessary project demand and initiation requests
  • Act as the project sponsor for the lead experts within the team (who are the project owners) and ensure all internal steps are followed while timely delivering the necessary Requests for Initiation and Request for Proposals to the market.
