Wat verwachten we van jou?
  • Je denkt mee met business stakeholders over hoe nieuwe technologieën een business-opportuniteit kunnen zijn, dan wel een bedreiging vormen, en giet deze in een realistische roadmap van business capabilities.
  • Op basis van je kennis en strategische visie bepaal je de enterprise architectuur voor de hele organisatie in al zijn aspecten (Business Processen, Informatie, Applicaties en Technologie).
  • Je zorgt voor een gedragen begrip en commitment onder de stakeholders via effectieve communicatie.
  • In de oplossingen die je voorstelt om het transformatieproces te ondersteunen zijn verschillende aspecten in balans: de technologie, de business-impact, de methodologie, de planning en de kosten-batenanalyse.
  • Je neemt zelf initiatief om relevante trends te volgen, deel te nemen in architectural communities en voortdurend je kennis rond deze topics te verdiepen:

As a Project Manager you are part of our Project Delivery Office.You are responsible for one or several projects from a to z, meaning that you manage the delivery of the projects assigned to you in terms of scope, time, budget and quality.Our projects are situated within the domains application development, IT infrastructure, ERP and corporate services or more general.

What do we expect from you?

  • Project Preparation
    • Manage the creation of the first estimates on resources and cost needs
    • Supervise the preliminary study and shape the start-up of the project
    • Manage the establishment and validation of the detailed scope, planning and budget in close collaboration with the client (SNCB) and our IT teams
    • Draft and follow up the project plan and ensure that the necessary documentation is created
    • Assure compliance with Legal Obligations (like GDPR, Security, …)
    • Mapping and taking into account the internal and external dependencies
  • Project Organisation
    • Manage the project team
    • Assure a correct stakeholder management in order to provide optimal business satisfaction
    • Connect and collaborate with the client, IT Business Relationship Partners, IT Architects and the delivery teams, as well as with our external sourcing partner TCS and various suppliers
    • Act as a central point of contact for all questions regarding the projects assigned to you
    • Orchestrate activities between different IT and business roles (architecture, analysts, delivery managers, business)
    • Monitor the project budget and estimates
    • Identify, manage and mitigate issues and risks, coordinate towards solutions in close collaboration with the project team and / or the IT supplier and escalate before it's too late
    • Organise / set up and lead the project status and steering groups
    • Manage scope changes and their financial and timing consequences
    • Ensure the timely delivery of all activities that fall under the responsibility of the project
    • Define and agree on communication, training and handover towards the involved internal client
  • Reporting & Quality Control
    • Conduct internal quality controls to guarantee the quality of the deliverables
    • Master, follow-up and report the status/progress of the project in terms of scope, budget and capacity
    • Run intermediate project reviews and determine improvement sessions
    • Identify risks, coordinate towards solutions and escalate before it’s too late

The Financial Analyst will provide controlling support to their local Business Units, including preparation of budgets and forecasts (Budget / F1 / F2 / Quarterly Landings / Rolling Forecast), monthly closings (activity & expense reviews, scorecards), project approval and tracking, and other financial planning & analysis activities on a timely basis.

Tasks • Position may be responsible for operational controlling activities and/or Industrial costing and or operating/capital expenses • Partner closely with Finance Business Partners across GBUs, to provide cohesive and seamless support to Business Leaders • Ensure accurate and timely monthly closing and share monthly results with Finance Business Partners as well as Budget Owners • Prepare monthly commentary to explain variances between actual results and/or budget and forecasts • Ensure business owners are executing the budgeted plan, including tracking actuals, approval of projects & providing direction to business owners • Develop Opex and headcount forecasts for designated areas, in partnership with FBPs and Budget Owners • Oversee and ensure opening and closing of projects as well as the timely capitalization beside compliance with Sanofi methods and procedure regarding Asset Management • Ensure Standard Cost are calculated and manufacturing performance monitored • Identify risks and opportunities that affect the achievement of these forecasts • Track headcount on a monthly basis and compare to budgeted and forecasted vacancy rates, including trend analysis for key drivers of change • Track all assumptions built into budget and forecasts • Approve project spend and ensuring projects are budgeted properly, challenging where necessary  • Continuously challenge legacy ways of working, status quo; identify gaps, and recommend new ways of working • Increase Financial and business acumen • Ensure compliance with pertinent SOX controls  • Ensure compliance with all internal control requirements   • Promote efficiencies and improved ways of working across designated region and ensure best practice sharing  • Educate client groups on all aspects of financial policies and processes to ensure compliance   • Support all key Finance initiatives     • Ad hoc projects and analyses as required
