Key Tasks:

As a Material and Production Planner, you will be responsible for:

  1. Material Planning: Efficiently managing inventory levels by forecasting demand, monitoring stock levels, and ordering materials as needed to ensure uninterrupted production.
  2. Production Scheduling: Collaborating closely with production teams to create and maintain production schedules that optimize resources and meet customer demand.
  3. Demand Forecasting: Utilizing historical data and market trends to develop accurate demand forecasts, helping the company to plan for future growth.
  4. Inventory Management: Implementing best practices to minimize excess inventory and reduce carrying costs while ensuring materials are readily available.
  5. Supplier Relations: Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and negotiate favorable terms.
  6. Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and increased efficiency within the supply chain and production processes.
  7. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborating with various departments, including production, procurement, and logistics, to ensure seamless coordination and communication.

Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic team.In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the food safety, quality, and operational teams by performing routine analytical and laboratory testing.The ideal candidate is a hardworking individual who can effectively carry out routine product testing, monitor instrumentation performance, and conduct tests with intermediate supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine analysis of product testing with intermediate supervision.
  • Check and monitor instrumentation performance, running calibration checks, preventive maintenance tasks, and simple repairs to analytical instrumentation.
  • Document results into databases and/or communicate test results to internal customers as required.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to contribute to the development of food/feed safety, quality, and regulatory culture.
  • Maintain and update customer specifications books, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and procedural food safety requirements for all individual testing.
  • Conduct routine quantitative and qualitative inspections and laboratory tests on raw materials, in-process, and final products independently.
  • Support more complex trials and experiments under intermediate supervision.
  • Handle moderately complex clerical, administrative, technical, or customer support issues under general supervision.
