The team you will be part of is an inter-cultural team with a mix of PON (passive optical network), system, embedded software and python experts.

Nokia fiber broadband solutions already delivered three generations of PON technology.From Gigabit GPON, network capacity was boosted by a factor of 10 with 25G PON (world premiere with Proximus), paving the way to 5G backhaul thanks to our in-house developed ASIC.

As part of our team, you will:
- Design, develop and test embedded software which is at the heart of the product
- Write software for real-time controllers, embedded Linux and ASIC drivers
- Be part of a multi-disciplinary agile team of senior experts and supported by state-of-the-art development and test technologies, tools and processes
- Interface with various other teams (product management, software, hardware and ASIC/FPGA) to solve complex puzzles and develop the right products for our customers
