As Functional Analyst, your key duties will include:
- Gathering and comprehending business requirements and translating them into functional requirements.
- Analyzing the dependencies between functional and non-functional requirements.
- Developing source/target mappings.
- Creating functional solution designs.
- Constructing conceptual and logical data models.
- Assisting the technical team in transforming conceptual/logical data models into physical models.
- Familiarizing yourself with Enterprise Architecture methodologies and concepts.
- Providing the technical team with the necessary resources for their success.
- Collaborating with business stakeholders to define acceptance criteria.
- Preparing, executing, and reporting on test scripts and their outcomes.
- Supporting stakeholders throughout their testing phase, analyzing reported issues, and identifying bugs, problems, and change requests.
- Offering guidance and counsel to stakeholders in matters related to data governance and management.
- Collaborating with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Promoting alignment between Business and IT.
- Working closely with end users and technical resources (developers) to identify their business needs and formulate appropriate analytical solutions.
- Demonstrating a strong grasp of applications and workflows.
- Planning and overseeing business diagnosis and planning activities.
- Evaluating functional impacts on end-to-end applications.
- Conducting requirement analysis to identify opportunities for value creation among end users.
