In essence, the role entails ensuring accurate financial reporting, enhancing operational efficiency, and maintaining compliance with legal and financial standards across various entities.This position requires a keen eye for detail, strategic planning, and a collaborative approach to achieve financial excellence.
Tasks:
- Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting for legal entities within the scope.
- Monthly closings (local and IFRS), precise budgeting, and timely forecasting, ensuring adherence to accounting, tax, and legal standards.
- Ensure smooth communication with New Energies HQ team regarding financial performance.
- Improve operating margins, profits, and cash flow by providing monthly financial analyses and actionable insights for enhancement.
- Develop strategic business plans to support the Product Line Director in shaping business strategies.
- Collaborate with various teams to optimize cash management and enhance efficiency without compromising relationships.
- Optimize VAT payments, manage effective tax rates, and monitor funding statuses.
- Enhance key processes and financial tools by implementing improved accounting schemes, procedures, and systems.
- Apply internal controls, monitor budgets, and analyze variances for better financial decision-making.
- Lead and oversee financial aspects of site performance reviews and project financial follow-ups.
- Manage tax, insurance, treasury, and audit-related functions, serving as the key contact for auditors and ensuring compliance with group policies.
- Influence and motivate others to achieve organizational goals.
- Support operational decision-making with timely, objective analysis.
- Communicate financial concepts clearly to non-financial individuals.
- Ensure optimal team placement and development through challenging assignments, prompt feedback, and relevant training.
