DP SURVEY GROUP (DPS) is an international survey company delivering claims and risk management services to the insurance industry across several business lines such as Marine, Non-Marine, Renewables,.. as well as a dedicated desk for Perishables. We are headquartered in Zwijndrecht from which all global operations are overseen and also have several branch offices in Europe, Africa, China and the USA – delivering services worldwide to a global customer base. Job description
As a key member of our International Team, you will:
- Coordinate claim surveys for clients in collaboration with our global network of seasoned surveyors.
- Organize and oversee joint surveys to ensure accuracy and thoroughness.
- Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders to keep them informed of survey developments.
- Report investigation findings to clients, detailing the cause and nature of any damages.
- Adapt to the fast-paced world of fresh produce by multitasking and managing multiple ongoing cases.
- Work independently on tasks but remain part of a supportive and flexible team ready to assist whenever needed.
Profiel
What do you need to succeed?
- Language skills: English is a must in our international setting, with Spanish preferred. French, German, Dutch, or other languages are an asset.
- Proficiency in Windows and Office applications.
- A curious mindset and eager to learn.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational abilities with a natural sense of structure.
- Confidence to pick up the phone and engage with stakeholders.
- Can-do attitude.
- Being a flexible go-getter.
Who are we looking for?
- Proven academic record (Bachelor-Master) or relevant experience.
- Starters welcome; learning continues beyond school.
Knowledge of bio/technical/agricultural practices to fast-track progress. - Experience in international shipping is beneficial.
- Background as (Fruit) Quality Controller/Manager or Surveyor is an advantage.
- Someone who values short international trips.
