- You will work in the workshop on a welding station, usually independently and under instructions from the master welder.

• You work closely with other fellow welders and fitters.
• You will weld parts together according to the rules of the art of welding and the appropriate welding process depending on the type of material and melting material.
• You are able to read and interpret technical drawings.
• You carry out quality control of the welded joint.
• You are responsible for basic operations such as sawing, drilling, tapping, etc. with different types of metal.
• You are also responsible for grinding cutting tools, small material repairs, re-sharpening and polishing.
• You report and report problems to your supervisor on a daily basis.
• You are responsible for your own safety and that of your colleagues at the welding station.
