About the Role:
As an Information Security Officer, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our organization's IT infrastructure and sensitive data. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing robust security protocols and procedures
- Conducting regular security assessments and audits
- Monitoring and responding to security incidents
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures
- Serving as a point of contact for security-related inquiries
- Leading the certification project for ISO27001
- Staying updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and best practices
Profiel
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Fluency in Dutch, with strong English language skills
- Proven experience as an Information Security Officer or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and best practices (e.g., NIST, CIS)
- Strong understanding of network security, encryption protocols, and secure coding practices
- Experience in vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and incident response
- Familiarity with security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM)
- Relevant technical certifications (e.g., ECIH, CEH) are highly desirable
