Functieomschrijving
- Coordinate and oversee all aspects of maritime transportation operations, including vessel scheduling, cargo handling, and port logistics.
- Liaise with shipping carriers, freight forwarders, and customs authorities to ensure timely and cost-effective cargo movement.
- Maintain accurate records of cargo shipments, documentation, and tracking information.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients while proactively identifying and developing new business opportunities.
- Resolve any shipping-related issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Accomany the GM on client visits as required by business needs (infrequent)
Profiel
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Over 3 years proven experience in shipping operations or maritime logistics.
- Familiarity with international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and shipping software.
- Excellent communication skills.Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure .
- Team player with a proactive and positive attitude.
