EOC Group is growing its hotmelt adhesives business (Exomelt), as part of a portfolio of startups and new ventures. We are looking for a hands-on, dynamic Technical Service & Development Specialist to be the technical face of hotmelts to our customers, translating their applications, processes and specifications into the right hotmelt solution, and driving technical business development on the ground.

You will need a thorough, practical understanding of hot melt adhesives and some formulation know-how of your own, but you won't be doing deep chemistry alone. You can lean on a team of formulation and chemistry specialists to turn your technical offers into robust products. This is a customer-facing, solution-oriented role for someone who is as comfortable on a customer's production line as in a technical discussion.

What will you do?

• You understand customers' applications, processes and specifications in depth, and translate them into the right hotmelt solution and a compelling technical offer.
• You drive technical business development, identifying and pursuing opportunities with new and existing customers in a hands-on, dynamic way.
• Once a solution is proposed, you support customers with in-line application advice, helping them run and troubleshoot hotmelt products on their equipment.
• You act as the technical liaison between customers and EOC's formulation and chemistry specialists, briefing the team on customer requirements and translating technical results back to customers.
• You provide training to agents and distributors who are intensively used to market our products.
• You track technical market trends and innovations in hotmelt adhesives, and bring relevant insights back into EOC's product and technology roadmap.
• You represent EOC and the Hotmelts business at industry conferences and trade shows, building EOC's technical reputation and network in the hotmelt adhesives market.
