Agristo, a market leader in the food industry, is looking for a preventive maintenance technician who is passionate about ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our machines and installations. As a technician, you play a crucial role in ensuring maximum uptime for our machinery.

What will you be doing at Agristo?
As a maintenance technician, you're passionate about ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our machines and installations. Your objective? To ensure smooth operation and minimise downtime.
- Set an example by following the prescribed guidelines and procedures for a (food) safe, environmentally friendly and orderly working environment.
- As a technician, you recognise potential problems before they cause breakdowns. You report these observations accurately, enabling us to act proactively and minimise unscheduled downtime.
- You carry out planned maintenance tasks, such as inspections, lubrications, adjustments and replacements.
- You will work closely with our operational teams and your technical colleagues to optimise the maintenance plan.
- You will provide the necessary support and follow-up to external collaborators to ensure that their contribution is effective and efficient. In addition, you will mentor technical trainees and new employees to help them progress in their role.
- You will keep accurate records of maintenance work carried out, using the maintenance software (Ultimo).
Profiel
- You have technical training or equivalent experience.
- You have several years' experience as a technician and a passion for technology.
- You have knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- You have a proactive attitude.
- You have logical thinking and good problem-solving skills, enabling you to work independently.
- You are a team player who contributes to smooth communication and collective success.
- You speak Dutch, French or English and are prepared to understand colleagues who speak other languages.
- You are prepared to work in a 2-shift system.
