Our client is an innovative financial services institution operating in the Belgian market. Through a strong customer-centric and digital approach, they provide a range of financial solutions while maintaining a strong focus on operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.
To support their continued growth, they are currently looking for a Business Support & Operations Specialis to join their team in Brussels.
Jobomschrijving
- Own and oversee critical operational processes and control frameworks
- Act as the escalation point for complex operational cases and policy-related decisions
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures, AML/KYC, GDPR and regulatory requirements
- Manage sensitive customer and account-related operations
- Prepare and analyse KPI, SLA and regulatory reporting
- Drive process improvement initiatives and operational excellence
- Participate in audits, investigations and risk mitigation activities
- Support the implementation of new products, systems and operational changes
- Develop procedures and provide training to operational teams
Profiel
- Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent through experience
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience within banking, financial services, insurance, or another highly regulated environment
- Solid understanding of retail banking operations and customer lifecycle processes
- Experience in AML/KYC, compliance, operational risk management, or process governance
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
- Experience with reporting, performance monitoring, and data analysis
- Knowledge of CRM systems, workflow tools, and financial services operations
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Hands-on, proactive, and solution-oriented approach
- Ability to manage complex cases while balancing regulatory requirements and customer experience
- Fluency in Dutch or French with professional proficiency in Dutch or French and English
