Functieomschrijving
To support the continued growth of ARCHE Consulting dealing with chemical and product health, sustainability, safety and environmental programs of multi-national corporations from varied industrial sectors, we are looking for a Junior Environmental Consultant (m/f/x) to join our team in Ghent or Leuven.
As a Junior Environmental Consultant you will be:
part of our Cradle to Cradle (C2C) team and assist companies in the Cradle to Cradle certification process (https://www.arche-consulting.be/our-services/cradle-to-cradle-certification/ [https://www.arche-consulting.be/en/our-services/sustainability/cradle-to-cradle]) and circular economy;
providing support and assist in technical dossier preparation for different chemical regulations (REACH, biocides transitional dossiers);
remaining aware of updates in regulatory guidance within your field;
communicating with clients and regulatory authorities if necessary.
Profiel
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor degree in environmental sciences, chemistry and/or related sub-disciplines
Required skills:
You adopt a customer-oriented approach
Solid organizational skills to handle short tasks, requests and checks
Broad interest in chemicals / biocides efficacy, physico-chemistry, risk assessment and sustainability
Fluent in English
Outstanding oral and written communication skills, enabling you to communicate effectively with internal staff and external clients and management
Additional qualifications considered beneficial:
1-2 years experience in a similar position is a big plus but not a prerequisite
You are familiar with Python and SQL knowledge
You demonstrate a strong work ethic and a positive attitude
You like to have fun both in your work and with the team
