Functieomschrijving
We are looking for an experienced Security Expert CISO to support information security governance, compliance, and architecture across a large public-sector environment.
The consultant will advise process owners, translate central security policies into practical controls, identify and report information security risks, and support audits and certification programmes. The role also includes defining security architecture strategies and supporting compliance with ISO/IEC 27001, NIS2, and recognised cybersecurity frameworks.
Profiel
Must Have
- Minimum 8 years of experience as a team member in security projects.
- Government-sector experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a CISO Architect role.
- Minimum 8 years of experience with ISO/IEC 27001.
- Demonstrable experience with NIS2.
- Minimum 8 years of experience with architectural and conceptual security design.
- Minimum 8 years of experience with security governance techniques and frameworks.
- Experience with ISO 27000 series, CyFun, NIST, or CIS Critical Security Controls.
- Dutch language proficiency at CEFR C2 level.
- Valid ISO 27001 Auditor certificate.
- Signed NDA.
- Experience within the Flemish Government.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with NIS2.
- Experience with Scrum and Jira.
- Agile mindset and delivery experience.
- Knowledge of data-modelling and development methodologies.
- Experience defining and implementing architecture strategies.
- Strong advisory and stakeholder-management capabilities.
