Role Name: .NET Developer (Senior)
Location: Ghent & Brussels, Belgium
Remote Work: Yes (Hybrid – 3 Days Remote / 2 Days Onsite)
Start Date: 03/08/2026
End Date: 15/07/2027
Language Requirement: Dutch (CEFR C2)
Main Responsibilities
.NET Software Development
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade .NET applications.
- Develop new functionalities for the Organisation Register and Association Register.
- Produce high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code.
- Perform coding, testing, debugging, and code optimisation.
- Contribute to continuous software improvements.
Technical Design & Architecture
- Participate in technical solution design.
- Contribute to technology selection and architectural decisions.
- Develop RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Apply event-driven architecture principles where appropriate.
- Support modern cloud-native development practices.
Agile Development
- Work within Agile Scrum teams.
- Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies.
- Collaborate through pair programming.
- Deliver sprint commitments with the team.
- Promote Agile and DevOps best practices.
DevOps & Cloud Engineering
- Support CI/CD and DevOps culture.
- Develop containerised applications using Docker.
- Work with Azure and AWS cloud environments.
- Contribute to deployment automation and operational improvements.
- Maintain high software quality standards.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Coach and mentor junior developers.
- Support technical leadership within the development team.
- Collaborate with architects, analysts, and stakeholders.
- Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to open-source initiatives hosted on GitHub.
Profiel
Required Skills & Expertise
Must Have
- Minimum 5 years of .NET application development.
- .NET (C#).
- ASP.NET.
- REST API development (minimum 6 years).
- PostgreSQL.
- Agile & DevOps culture (minimum 3 years).
- Strong coding, testing, and debugging skills.
- Dutch language proficiency at CEFR C2 level.
- Signed NDA.
