Functieomschrijving
As a metalizer / sandblaster, you treat metal surfaces through sandblasting and coating. You work with compressed air and oxygen suits, where precision and strength are essential.
Your responsibilities include:
- Preparing metal parts for surface treatment
- Sandblasting and coating metal surfaces
- Working with oxygen or compressed air systems
- Inspecting finished parts for quality and uniformity
- Following safety regulations and wearing protective equipment
- Maintaining the workspace and materials
This role requires physical strength and endurance, as you will spend a lot of time working in protective gear and must be able to withstand heat and physical exertion.
Profiel
- Experience as a metalworker, sandblaster, or in a similar role is a plus
- Physically strong with the endurance to work long periods in an oxygen suit
- Able to withstand heat and physically demanding conditions
- Accurate and quality-conscious
- Safety-minded and responsible
A team player who can work independently when needed
