Functieomschrijving
As a Solutions Engineer, you are responsible for both the design and implementation of logistics solutions for new and existing customers.
- Analyze customer requirements, operational data and logistics flows
- Design efficient warehouse processes, layouts and automation concepts
- Develop pricing models, cost calculations and business cases
- Prepare and present tailored logistics solutions and proposals
- Manage implementation projects from concept to go-live
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including Operations, Engineering, IT, Customer Service and external stakeholders
- Monitor project scope, budget, planning and operational readiness
- Ensure a successful start-up and smooth transition into daily operations
- Identify process improvements and contribute to continuous optimization initiatives
- Support business development activities and participate in customer meetings and negotiations.
Profiel
Your profile:
- Minimum 5 years of experience within logistics, warehousing or supply chain operations
- Strong analytical skills with experience in cost calculations, productivity analyses, process design and ROI assessments
- Experience managing projects and coordinating multiple stakeholders
- Customer-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a hands-on approach
- Able to work effectively under tight deadlines
- Team player with leadership capabilities
- Excellent command of English
- Knowledge of Dutch and/or French is considered an asset
- Willingness to travel internationally when required, including longer project assignments abroad (+-3 months).
