About the role
Join our R&D team as a Mechanical Design Engineer , where you'll contribute to the development of cutting-edge axial flux motors.
This is what you'll do:

Design innovative solutions for new product challenges.

Create detailed 3D CAD models and 2D drawings following industry standards.

Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors on design and specifications.
Profiel
Who are we looking for?
-
Master's degree in Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
-
At least 3 years of professional experience in mechanical design and development.

Proficient in Siemens NX, Teamcenter PDM or similar CAD/PDM tools.

Skilled in DFMEA, DFM, DFA, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.

Knowledgeable about material properties (metals and plastics), production techniques, and problem-solving methodologies.

Strong analytical skills to perform mechanical calculation (eg: reaction forces, bolt sizing, bearing selection).

This position requires existing work authorization in Belgium.

A team player with a can-do mentality, creative mindset, and fluent in English.
