Our client is a global healthcare technology organization operating in a highly regulated and mission-driven environment. They are looking for an EHS Specialist to support employees across Belgium and the wider Benelux region. Acting as Prevention Advisor, you will ensure compliance, promote a strong safety culture, and bridge corporate EHS standards with local regulatory requirements.
Jobomschrijving
- Act as Prevention Advisor for the Belgian commercial organization
- Conduct workplace and task-specific risk assessments
- Implement and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs
- Lead initiatives related to ergonomics, driver safety, fire safety, PPE, and employee health
- Manage biological, chemical, and ionising radiation safety programs
- Investigate incidents and perform root cause analyses
- Support internal audits and implement corrective actions
- Deliver EHS training, communication, and awareness initiatives
Profiel
- Prevention Advisor certification
- Minimum 2 years of EHS experience
- Minimum 2 years of Prevention Advisor experience
- Strong knowledge of Belgian health & safety legislation
- Experience with risk assessments and compliance programs
- Skilled in incident investigations and corrective action management
- Comfortable delivering presentations and training sessions
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Fluent in Dutch and English, French is a strong asset
- Organized, proactive, autonomous, and a strong relationship builder
