Functieomschrijving
Our client is a leading international retailer known for its collaborative culture, innovation, and continuous improvement mindset.
Jobomschrijving
- Manage and reconcile financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities and support financial reporting under BE GAAP and IFRS.
- Perform complex account reconciliations, including intercompany and fixed assets accounts.
- Analyze and optimize financial processes by implementing automation and efficiency improvements.
- Partner with operational teams (stores, e-commerce, logistics) to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
- Identify financial risks, strengthen internal controls, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Profiel
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management with at least a first experience in a similar role.
- Strong accounting knowledge with the ability to independently manage complex reconciliations (intercompany, fixed assets).
- Proficient in Excel, with an interest in ERP systems and Generative AI tools.
- Organized, proactive, and able to manage priorities effectively while meeting strict deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Fluent in Dutch with a good command of French and English; committed to continuous learning and process improvement.
