Functieomschrijving
Are you skilled with a wheel loader or forklift and looking for a varied job in the recycling sector? This position as a wheel loader/forklift operator is perfect for you. You’ll help recycle plastic waste and contribute to a better environment. Your main tasks include moving plastic waste, handling big bags, and safely loading and unloading trucks.
On a typical workday, you’ll start with a short briefing before you begin moving waste streams around the site. You work accurately and ensure everything ends up in the right place. Sometimes the waste can have an odor, but thanks to your dedication, the site stays orderly and safe. You’ll follow a unique work schedule: 4 weeks working in Lanaken, followed by 4 weeks off at home in Poland.

Profiel
- Possession of a forklift operator or wheel loader operator certificate
- Good command of English or Polish, both spoken and written
- Minimum diploma of higher secondary education
- Experience operating a wheel loader, forklift, or crane is a plus
- Flexibility to work in a 4-weeks-on, 4-weeks-off system
- Safety minded and orderly work habits
- Open to junior, medior, and senior candidates

Aanbod
Vergoeding:min. 2470 - max. 2470 euro bruto per maand

- Meal vouchers worth €4.16 per day worked
- Full-time job (38 hours/week)
- Unique schedule: 4 weeks working in Lanaken, 4 weeks off in Poland
- Possibility to extend the contract
