As a Financial Accountant, you will support our client's Belgian operations, overseeing management accounting, month-end and year-end closing, statutory reporting, tax compliance, and external audits. The role offers the opportunity to work in an international, fast-growing pharmaceutical environment, based in Walloon Brabant with a hybrid working model.

Description

• Supporting external audits and acting as the key contact for auditors.
• Preparing audit schedules and year-end statutory accounts.
• Ensuring compliance with local GAAP, IFRS, or other statutory reporting requirements.
• Coordinating audit timelines and resolving audit queries efficiently.
• Performing month end for all aspects of the management accounts
• Ensuring financial processing and authorisation procedures are applied in accordance with approved procedures
• Assisting in the preparation of statutory financial statements for relevant entity in accordance with Local Accounting Standards
• Preparing tax related declarations e.g. VAT, Intrastat and Corporate tax
• Supporting initiatives to obtain tax subsidies
