 Required Experience:

• Practical experience with conventional cylindrical grinding is essential.
• Experience with manually setting up conventional cylindrical grinding machines independently.
• Experience with aligning and clamping workpieces correctly on the machine.
• Experience in performing measurements independently using accurate measuring tools, including micrometers.
• Experience working with high precision on a micrometer level.
• Experience reading and interpreting technical plans and mechanical drawings.
• Experience working with hard materials.
• Preferred experience with machine brands: Norton, TOS, and Danobat.
• Preferred experience or familiarity with diamond grinding wheels.

 Education & Qualifications:

• TSO level or equivalent.
• Technical education in areas such as:
• Metalworking 
• Machining 
• Mechanical Design / Shaping 
• Mechanical Engineering 
• Mechanical Techniques 

Note: Relevant practical experience is just as important as a diploma. Proven hands-on experience and technical insight carry more weight than formal qualifications.

 Competencies & Profile:

• Strong technical understanding and a good feel for machines and how workpieces react during grinding.
• Ability to work with high accuracy, control, and patience to bring workpieces step-by-step to the exact size.
• Strong focus on quality, preferring to deliver one perfect part over five parts that require subsequent rework.
• Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to identify and solve problems independently.
• Capable of working both independently with high autonomy and as part of a team.
• Driven, eager to learn, and stress resistant.
• Positive attitude, neat and safe working habits, and willing to get hands dirty.
• Professional and courteous appearance
• Willingness to be flexible regarding working hours/overtime when required.
• Language Requirements: Proficiency in English or German (Dutch is not mandatory).
