For a growing company specialized in ship repair and technical maintenance, we are looking for a SHIP ELECTRICIAN.
As a SHIP ELECTRICIAN, your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out electrical maintenance and repair work on ships;
- Working on different ships, both at the workshop in Ostend and on-site throughout West Flanders;
- Starting on site and working independently on the planned tasks;
- Performing electrical tests and inspections;
- Disconnecting electrical components and wiring from engines;
- Troubleshooting electrical faults and finding suitable solutions;
- Carrying out electrical interventions and repairs;
- Actively thinking along with technical challenges and independently looking for solutions.
Profiel
As a SHIP ELECTRICIAN in OSTEND, you recognize yourself in the following:
- You have a technical education or background, preferably in industrial electricity;
- You speak Dutch OR English;
- You have a driving licence B;
- You preferably have experience in an industrial environment;
- Experience in the maritime sector is a plus, but not an absolute requirement;
- You are able to work independently and do not need constant supervision;
- You are a real problem-solver who takes initiative and looks for solutions yourself;
- You are not afraid to take responsibility.

Aanbod
This is what the client offers you as a SHIP ELECTRICIAN in OSTEND:
- An attractive salary between €17 and €23/hour, negotiable depending on experience;
- Meal vouchers for each day worked;
- A full-time position of 40 hours per week;
- Working hours from 07:30 to 16:00, Monday to Friday;
