Jobomschrijving
As a GL Accountant you will be performing the following tasks:
- Daily accounting entries in AP, AR and GL
- Ensuring accuracy of all data
- Reconciliation of accounts
- Monthly and annual closings for multiple BE entities
- Preparation and analysis of cash flow
- Preparation of the financial statements
- Ensuring compliance with local GAAP and IFRS
- Financial reporting to group
- VAT-declaration and statutory reporting NBB / Intrastat
- Assisting with external audits and internal controls
- Supporting process improvements and automation initiatives
- Acting as a point of contact within the finance team
Profiel
We are looking for candidates that match the following criteria:
- You hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- You bring at least 3 years of relevant experience in accounting, audit or financial reporting.
- Fluent Dutch or French and good knowledge of German and English is a plus
- You possess a strong understanding of BEGAAP, GEGAAP and IFRS reporting standards.
- You are comfortable working in SAP
- You have excellent Excel skills
- You combine strong analytical capabilities with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
- You are able to work independently, while also being an effective and collaborative team player.
