Our partner is aninternational organisation with a strong Belgian presence, operating in a highly connected and technically demanding environment.
They are looking for a3rd Line Support / System Engineerto join their IT team and become a key technical point of contact for complex incidents and infrastructure challenges.
System Engineer - The Job- Act as thetechnical escalation point, taking ownership of complex L3 incidents and ensuring sustainable resolutions.
- Troubleshoot and improveMicrosoft, Linux and infrastructure environments, identifying root causes and preventing recurring issues.
- Work onsystem administration and infrastructure projects, contributing to the evolution and reliability of the IT environment.
- Collaborate with different technical teams onnetworking, security, cloud and platform-related challenges.
- Drivecontinuous improvementby optimising processes, documentation, monitoring and operational procedures.
- Share your expertise with colleagues and act as atechnical reference, supporting lower support levels on complex technical topics.
Profiel
System Engineer - The Profile
- Several years of experience inL3 Support, System Engineering or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Strong hands-on knowledge ofMicrosoft and/or Linux environments, system administration and troubleshooting.
- A solid understanding ofnetworking, infrastructure and security concepts.
- Experience investigating complex incidents, performingroot cause analysisand implementing long-term solutions.
- Comfortable working independently while remaining a strongteam playerwho enjoys sharing knowledge.
- Strong communication skills and a good command ofEnglish; additional languages are a plus.
