Functieomschrijving
Robert Half is currently looking for a Senior Corporate Accountant (m/f/x) for a permanent position.
Our client is an international company located in Groot-Bijgaarden.
As a Senior Corporate Accountant, your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating accounting activities and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
- Supervising month-end and year-end closing activities, reconciliations and general ledger processes.
- Monitoring budgets, costs and financial performance within the assigned scope.
- Managing tax compliance, audit support and statutory reporting requirements.
- Supporting business projects, process improvements and the integration of new entities.
- Coaching accounting team members and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
Profiel
The required qualifications for this position of Senior Corporate Accountant are:
- You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent through experience.
- You have at least 5 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting.
- You have experience preparing financial statements.
- Experience within an international or shared service environment is considered an asset.
- A first people management or coaching experience is a plus.
- Experience within the Services or Retail sector is required.
- You have knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP.
- Experience with ERP implementations, migrations or system improvement projects is a strong asset.
- You are fluent in English and French.
- You have advanced Excel skills and experience working with SAP. Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
