Functieomschrijving
For our client in the food industry, we are looking for a motivated forklift driver to work in a two-shift.
You will ensure that production continues to run smoothly by moving crates on time and supplying the production lines with film and cardboard.
Are you an experienced forklift driver with an eye for safety and organisation? Then this position could be the perfect match for you!
Your responsibilities:
- Moving crates within the production environment.
- Supplying the production lines on time with film, cardboard and other packaging materials.
- Removing and moving finished products and empty crates.
- Checking that the correct materials are available in the right place.
- Assessing priorities and responding quickly when production requires it.
- Operating the forklift safely and accurately.
- Working closely with operators, supply workers and other colleagues.
- Maintaining order and cleanliness in the workplace.
- Following all applicable safety, hygiene and quality regulations.
Profiel
- Several years of experience as a forklift driver.
- A valid forklift certificate, or a certificate that expired recently.
- Good technical and practical insight.
- Ability to work independently and determine the right priorities.
- Accurate, responsible and safety-conscious approach.
- Strong teamwork and clear communication skills.
- Experience in the food industry or a production environment is an advantage
