About this job
Are you comfortable taking the lead in a production environment? Do you enjoy combining people management with a strong focus on quality and efficiency? For a growing company, we are looking for a Packaging Team Leader to strengthen the operations team.
Jouw verantwoordelijkhedenIn this role, you ensure that the packaging department operates smoothly from start to finish.
- Prepare and organize the daily packaging activities.
- Guide employees and distribute tasks across the team.
- Keep a close eye on product quality, hygiene and safety procedures.
- Follow up on packaging orders and coordinate priorities.
- Act quickly when technical or operational issues occur.
- Look for practical ways to improve efficiency on the production floor.
- Maintain clear communication with production planning and finished goods storage.
- Keep the Production Manager informed about progress and possible challenges.
- Help introduce and optimize the use of MES and ERP systems within the department.
Profiel
- A first experience in production is preferred; experience in the food industry is a strong advantage.
- You are confident when guiding colleagues and making decisions on the work floor.
- A practical mindset and a flexible attitude come naturally to you.
- You work accurately and have an eye for quality and detail.
- Good English communication skills are required.
- You are comfortable using computer systems and willing to learn new software.
- Working in two shifts fits your availability.
