Functieomschrijving
Our client is a well-established european organisation active in the financial services sector, with easily accessible offices in Brussels. You will lead a close-knit accounting team within a collaborative environment known for its positive and supportive culture
Jobomschrijving
- Lead, coach and develop a team of two accounting professionals
- Oversee day-to-day general accounting activities and IFRS reporting processes
- Review and validate the trial balance to ensure the accuracy of financial statements
- Coordinate VAT returns, annual accounts and tax compliance obligations
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and statutory obligations
Profiel
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field
- Minimum 7 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, audit or financial analysis
- Previous experience managing an accounting team is a strong asset
- Fluent in French and English; Dutch is considered an advantage
- Solid knowledge of SAP, IFRS standards, VAT regulations and financial reporting
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and continuous improvement focus
