As a Transport Officer you get to organize & control the transport of deliveries in order to achieve high standards of transport quality.

Responsibilities: 

• Organizing the collection of the finished order via the SAP transport module or entering the shipments in the relevant transport software
• Communicating with the forwarder to have the collection take place on time and forwarding the necessary documents (pick-up lists, invoices, etc.) as agreed
• Communicating with the dealers to inform them of the delivery date provided and forward the transport documents needed.
• Alignment with various stakeholders in case of delivery issues and complaints
• Loading of pallets or cartons on trucks
• Acceptance of small shipments and organizing the internal transfer on site
• Administrative support to Logistics Transport Supervisor 
• Optimizing efficiency and costs for all shipments done
