Functieomschrijving
As a Senior Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and improving automation solutions. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will drive innovation, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure the reliability of automated systems.
Profiel
- Travel internationally (up to 30%) to support customers and projects worldwide.
- Drive innovation in advanced machine automation by developing and optimizing PLC and SCADA solutions for high-tech industrial equipment.
- Create and maintain functional machine specifications and ensure successful automation project delivery.
- Perform functional testing and validation prior to shipment and support machine upgrades and service interventions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define automation architectures, including PLC and network configurations.
- Leverage your extensive experience in PLC programming, preferably with Siemens (TIA Portal/Step7) and other automation platforms.
