Functieomschrijving
The ICT operations service is seeking a Senior Windows System Administrator to join its Windows Server Team and help operate, maintain and support production infrastructure across software and hardware environments.
The assignment focuses on Windows server operations, second- and third-line incident resolution, application server releases, Citrix / Remote Desktop maintenance and the ongoing reliability of the Windows server estate.
- Monitor, investigate and resolve second- and third-line infrastructure incidents.
- Implement smaller service and infrastructure change requests.
- Execute line-of-business application releases on application servers.
- Maintain Citrix XenDesktop servers and Remote Desktop Session Hosts.
- Perform routine maintenance, monitoring and follow-up across Windows servers.
- Administer and support Active Directory, Group Policies, DHCP, DNS, PXE and Windows firewall technologies.
- Support Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams and authentication.

Must Have
- System administration (setup, management and maintenance of systems)
- System-engineer-level knowledge and experience in at least one specialist domain: Unix/Linux/Windows, mainframes, application middleware, security systems, or network and communications systems.
- Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams and authentication)
- Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policies
- Windows infrastructure services (DHCP, DNS, PXE) and firewall technologies
- Windows Server 2016 or later – 5+ years, Senior level (the context additionally refers to Windows Server 2012 or later).

- Relevant ITIL processes, particularly change management.
- Azure DevOps Server 2022 or later.
- Citrix NetScaler 13.x or later.
- Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops 2402 LTSR or later.
