Functieomschrijving
As a wheel loader operator, you are a vital link at our recycling site in Hemiksem. You make sure materials around the crushing installation are supplied and moved efficiently so production never stops. You combine operating the wheel loader with driving the forklift and help load and unload trucks.
Your main tasks:
- Operate a wheel loader safely and efficiently to support daily operations at the recycling site
- Feed the crushing installation and move, sort, and stockpile rubble and recycled aggregates
- Operate a forklift when needed
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks
- Carry out daily inspections and basic maintenance checks on the machines
- Report any technical issues or damage to the equipment promptly
- Keep the working environment around the machines clean and safe, even in dusty conditions

Profiel
- Certificate or license to operate a wheel loader (mandatory)
- At least 1 to 2 years of relevant experience as a wheel loader operator
- Willingness to also operate a forklift (experience/certificate is a plus)
- Good knowledge of English (speaking and writing)
- Able to work independently, trustworthy, and have a hands-on mentality
- Comfortable working in a dusty, outdoor, industrial environment
- Flexible, punctual, and physically fit

Aanbod
Vergoeding:min. 3467 - max. 3467 euro bruto per maand
- Gross wage of €20/hour
- Meal vouchers worth €3.09 per worked day
- Overtime paid at 150%
- 12 extra ADV days per year in addition to statutory leave
- Full-time day shifts (Mon-Fri, no weekend or night work)
- A varied role with lots of autonomy

- After a successful interim period, a permanent contract may be offered
