Functieomschrijving
For our client, a family-owned construction and transport company that has been active since 1940, we are looking for a C/CE Truck Driver.
This family business, where a passion for construction has been passed down from father to son, specialises in construction works, the sale and transport of building materials, and earthworks.
As a C/CE Truck Driver (concrete mixer or truck-mounted crane), your responsibilities will include:
- Driving a concrete mixer truck or a truck equipped with a truck-mounted crane and transporting concrete and building materials to various construction sites;
- Starting your working day at the company’s premises or from home (provided you have a safe place to park your truck) and ensuring timely deliveries to construction sites;
- Driving and operating your truck safely and correctly;
- Following the work schedule and respecting agreements with customers;
- Ensuring the proper maintenance and cleanliness of your truck;
- Complying with all safety regulations on the road and at construction sites.
Profiel
As a BUILDING MATERIALS TRUCK DRIVER CE, you recognise yourself in the following profile:
- You have a valid C/CE driving licence, professional competence and CODE 95;
- You have experience as a truck driver;
- Experience driving a concrete mixer truck is an advantage, but motivation and willingness to learn are just as important;
- You are flexible and have no problem starting work early in the morning;
- You communicate well in Dutch or English;
- You treat your truck, customers and colleagues with respect;
- You are looking for a stable job in a family-owned company.

Aanbod
As a BUILDING MATERIALS TRUCK DRIVER C/CE in KOEKELARE, our client offers you:
- An attractive hourly wage above the standard pay scale, from €16 to €20 per hour, negotiable depending on your experience;
- An ARAB allowance of €1.85;
- Mileage allowance, end-of-year bonus and work clothing;
- Full-time employment from Monday to Friday;
- Fixed contract after positive evaluation;
- Working days that generally start between 5 and 6 a.m.;
- Working days of approximately 12 hours, depending on the schedule;
- NO weekend work;
- Flexible holiday arrangements, open to discussion;
- The possibility of taking the truck home, provided there is a suitable and safe parking space;
- A varied job with deliveries throughout West and East Flanders and Northern France;
- The opportunity to learn additional skills on the job.
