A leading company active in the Financial Services & Banking sector is currently looking to hire a motivated Compliance Conduct and Risk Expert to join their offices in Brussels.

Thanks to your experience in Compliance, you will be the perfect addition to the company.You will have an essential role within the organisation and your team and will follow the evolutions of legislation and regulations within the different compliance domains, such as: investor protection, product governance, advertising and publicity for banking and investment products, protection rules for borrowers, conflicts of interest, complaint handling, Privacy, inside information and market abuse.

Your main responsibilities as the new Compliance Conduct and Risk Expert will include:

  • Following relevant laws and regulations and ensuring that internal policies, procedures and guidelines for head office and agents are in place and updated in a timely manner
  • Analysing these laws and regulations, and in the event of shortcomings, informing management together with the compliance officer and developping action plans
  • Following up on the action plans and reporting on this to the compliance officer
  • Following up the implementation projects of legislation and regulations, and providing advice on various proposals from the operational services
  • Validating your investment product and commercial training from the point of view of the compliance domains
  • Representing the compliance function in committees and working groups, and participating in internal and external compliance reporting

Transformation Manager

For our Bpost Business Services – Source to Pay entity we are looking for a Transformation Manager, that will drive major transformation initiatives at the Group level under the sponsorship of the Group Executive Committee (for instance: process redesign, subsidiary integration, technological development,…).

Your first main tasks will be the harmonisation and improvement of the current AP processes, the 3rd party risk management and cost reduction initiatives on the treatment of invoices.You will also be involved in the implementation of new tools and the on-boarding of our subsidiaries.

Drive the implementation of the AP transformation program within bpost:

  • Define, structure and execute transformation activities
  • Be accountable for the deliverables of the transformation programs
  • Engage in regular transformation program steering committees
  • Mobilise stakeholders across the entire group (business units, corporate units, …) and ensure initiative owners design & deliver the right outcome on behalf of the Transformation Program
  • Perform detailed analyses and content work together with key business stakeholders to drive the transformation program
  • Ensure sharing of best practices & solutions across initiatives in portfolio
  • Ensure critical inter-dependencies & risks are mitigated or escalated to the management
  • Build a team of transformation managers

Help developing initiative portfolios with stakeholders in bpost organization:

  • Engage cross-functional organization initiative teams & ensure effective collaboration;
  • Interact with key stakeholders (CFO – CTO) to develop initiative portfolio to drive the Transformation program(s) forward;
  • Develop KPIs to measure initiative progress;
  • Identify links with other initiatives to support integration.


Monitor & report on progress of transformation (initiatives):

  • Monitor overall program and sub-initiatives regarding budget, benefits, timeline & quality;
  • Monitor developed KPIs and value creation of the initiatives;
  • Review & challenge the implementation of the initiatives;
  • Identify & mitigate roadblocks & risks or escalate them to the management and Group Executive Committee
  • Provide transparency to the management and Group Executive Committee on progress of KPIs;
  • Prepare regular presentations to management and project-specific steering committees.

Communicate and build relationships with key internal stakeholders:

  • Establish strong report with initiative owners and stakeholders involved in the transformation, on finance and corporate level.
  • Support development of change program associated with the transformation initiatives, working closely with the Head of Change.
  • Align with Functional/Business heads to identify changes impacting their respective organizations & ensure smooth collaboration

Develop, coach & monitor the Transformation Experts/Associates assigned to the same transformation program.
