Als Technical Service Coordinator plan je de agenda's van de techniekers in zodat zij zo efficiënt mogelijk te werk kunnen gaan en coördineer je de aanvragen van onze klanten van A tot Z.
Je werkt binnen deze functie van maandag tot en met vrijdag, 38u/week.

In deze functie werk je binnen onze Equipment Services afdeling van Avantor die bestaat uit enerzijds een groep van Field Service Engineers die verantwoordelijk zijn voor de installatie, het preventief onderhoud en de herstelling van een uitgebreid gamma van laboratoriumapparatuur, en anderzijds een team van Technical Service Coordinators die instaan voor de administratieve opvolging van deze dienstverlening.

Hoe je zal groeien en een impact zal maken
  • Je staat in voor het inplannen, coördineren en opvolgen van interventies van de Field Service Engineers.
  • Je bent de sleutelpersoon tussen klant, techniekers, sales team en leveranciers.Je zorgt voor een vlotte communicatie en samenwerking met de verschillende betrokken partijen.
  • Je communiceert proactief met klanten om interventies in te plannen en volgt deze op van het maken van de offerte tot de aanzet voor de factuur na de uitvoering.
  • Je speelt een actieve rol in het analyseren en verbeteren van bestaande processen.

Process Engineer (Plant)

Key result area 1 – Technological leadership 
✓ In coordination with the Group Manufacturing & Innovation department: 
Attends engineering and technology fairs and congresses in the area, as input for potential new ideas. 
Keeps contact with plant suppliers and partners to monitor ongoing and future developments and 
technology trends. 
Supports the Group Manufacturing & Innovation department during technical discussion/negotiation 
with plant suppliers, concerning new developments. 
 
Key result area 2 – Projects 
✓ Cooperates intensively with suppliers and partners to reach the project targets, in conjunction with the 
relevant Group departments and the local team. 
✓ Participates in the definition of Bo.R (hardware and software related) of new industrial investments for 
the plant. 
✓ Supports the pre-acceptance, installation, commissioning, reception, and acceptance of new industrial 
solutions at the plant. 
 
Key result area 3 – Technical support  
✓ Provides the proper technical support and assistance to the Production and Maintenance teams on: 
Interventions on industrial equipment and software, like repairs, programming, modifications, e.g. 
Action plan related to KPIs targets and potential deviations. 
Parametrization of assembly and sequencing equipment in cooperation with Quality and Supply Chain. 
Training of local teams about relevant aspects of industrial process. 
✓ Compliance to group procedures and requirements within his/her area of responsibility. 
✓ In coordination with the Group IT department: development, implementation and maintaining of IT 
systems related to the industrial process like ERP, MES and Sequencing Software. 
✓ Root cause analysis on internal or customer incidents linked to the process (wrong data sent to the 
customer, e.g.). 
✓ Supports data acquisition from the industrial process and KPI definition, reporting and analysis. 
 
The Process Engineer reports to the Manufacturing Manager of the plant. 
At Group level (matrix organization), the Process Engineer Plant functionally reports to the Group Production & 
Maintenance Manager, who in turn reports to the Head of Manufacturing & Innovation.

  • Engage with Project Managers to create, plan, track, and execute overall project plans.
  • Support the creation of business cases and contribute to project steering committees with clear roles and responsibilities.

Application Management:

  • Oversee application lifecycle management for all applications in the portfolio.
  • Advise on risk management, ensuring effective detection, reporting, and mitigation.
  • Support portfolio management and optimize capacity planning.

Financials:

  • Create and manage departmental budget proposals aligned with business strategy and priorities.
