Sales Manager (Pure Play) - e.Commerce Location: Tilbur, NL or multiple locations in Belgium or France (hybrid working)
Reports to: Senior Sales Manager (Pure Play)
Job summary As a Sales Manager (Pure Play) will drive the commercial capabilities and executional excellence of Newell Brands on Pure Play, working with brands like Parker, DYMO, Yankee Candle, Spontex and others.
You will be part of our e.Commerce division, surrounded by a diverse group of people who share your passion for results and excitement at enabling change.
Key responsibilities: - Improve cashflow and Gross Margin though P&L ownership and governance, driving Invoice to Net (ITN) efficiencies through accurate customer spend, improved forecast on strategic selection and team enablement through education on Joint Business Plans (JBP) and tools to support.
- Partnering with Customer Marketing / digital media and customer to develop and execute consumption plans that support segment strategic and financial goals whilst delivering on customer KPIs.
- Manage Customer Terms and develop 3-year JBP
- Lead Bol.com and Cdiscount's yearly promotion plans, flexing catalogue to work around deal tenets – work with retailers 6 months out on a 3-month rolling calendar
- Lead Marquee Event strategy, optimising Newell's approach to SKU list, deal % off, Omnibus regulations and ABC catalogue – working hand in hand with the Customer Marketing Team on activation
- Manage the Sales Out Allowance (SOA) investment and monthly balance sheet as a key contributor to upholding diligence into the P&L, along with negotiating SOA funding
- Ownership of invoice deductions and terms of CCOGs agreement
- Lead Monthly Business Revies using effective questioning, addressing topics in real-time, following up on actions taken with clear accountability
- Lead Demand Agreement Meeting (DAM) calls to improve forecast level accuracy and analyse high and low inventory.Check DAM alignment with the Invoice Sales call and Bottom-Up forecast.
- Include inventory reporting in weekly PCOGs analysis – informing team on inventory evolution and areas of focus.
