U stuurt functioneel en technisch een ontwikkelingsproject aan in samenwerking met een softwareteam (C# /NET voor missie en controlesystemen), een infrastructuur en integratieteam (hardware, netwerk, cybersecurity) en gespecialiseerde onderzoeksingenieurs U onderhoudt regelmatig contact met klanten en partners over technische oplossingen en integraties, en vertaalt operationele en klantbehoeften naar productfunctionaliteiten U bent verantwoordelijk voor planning, opvolging en het veiligstellen van opleveringen en projectmijlpalen, waarbij u risico’s vroegtijdig identificeert en passende mitigatieplannen opstelt U zorgt voor duidelijke communicatie tussen projectdirectie, productverantwoordelijken en uitvoeringsteams (voortgang, mijlpalen, deliverables) en draagt actief bij aan de coördinatie van systeemintegratie, tests en sea trials Tot slot neemt u deel aan het bepalen van de productroadmap en technische strategie, stuurt u de opmaak van “Product naar Project” documentatie aan en organiseert u kwaliteitsreviews (PDR, CDR en bijbehorende mijlpalen).

Different EPC projects Provide a resource loaded and leveled project schedule which clearly identifies critical path and float areas Monitor, collect and enter progress on a regular basis for the project Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, Procurement, and Construction to define schedule requirements and work sequence Develop and maintain regular scheduling reporting including but not limited to look ahead schedules, Manpower, Earned Value Reporting, Project Dashboarding (using Power BI), and client reports as required Work with subcontractors to integrate schedules into the master schedule Review project schedule and drive communication to project leadership when risk areas are identified with appropriate mitigation plans to assure on time delivery Perform ongoing schedule analysis, critical path analysis, earned value analysis, risk analysis reporting, evaluate, and recommend schedule improvements and opportunities Prepare and deliver accurate and on time reporting to meet client contractual requirements Work with Cost management team to gain alignment when forecasting schedule completion dates Support the project team to provide clear visibility on status and schedule both internally and to client Support senior management and planning personnel as appropriate Provide guidance and support to planning staff as required Develop Weekly Planning Report Pack QC Schedules of Planning team.

Flow WP3: Enabling sustained flows of biodiversity monitoring data in the DTO, ensuring progress towards sustained, reliable and interoperable biodiversity data flows for Digital Twin Ocean applications. Share your acquired experiences with your team members, thereby assisting them in improving specific data flows and optimizing training material You lead MARCO BOLO WP5: Modelling and Mapping Coastal and Marine Biodiversity, coordinating work related to modelling approaches, mapping products, biodiversity assessments and their scientific and stakeholder relevance You coordinate internal VLIZ contributions across MOC, the VLIZ Marine Data Centre, ICT, research infrastructure, marine robotics, biodiversity research, policy and innovation teams You help translate marine biodiversity observations into reusable data workflows, scientific outputs, project deliverables, policy relevant products, modelling applications and digital twin services You contribute to the development and implementation of workflows for marine biodiversity data processing, analysis, integration and valorization You organize, participate in and report on project meetings, work package meetings, workshops, stakeholder consultations, conferences and network activities You coordinate and, where relevant, contribute to measurement campaigns, sampling campaigns, experiments, data collection and scientific analysis You contribute to scientific publications, project reports, technical documentation, communication outputs and stakeholder oriented products You stay up to date with scientific and technological developments in marine biodiversity observation, marine ecosystem research, biodiversity modelling and mapping, Digital Twin Ocean developments, AI supported monitoring and marine data systems You contribute to the development of new project ideas, project proposals and funding applications in line with the MOC strategy and the VLIZ research agenda You help identify strategic opportunities for MOC in European and international research, innovation and infrastructure programs You contribute to outreach and stakeholder engagement in line with the VLIZ communication strategy For each function, VLIZ considers enthusiastic involvement, service minded, excellent professionalism and integrity as important characteristics.
