Thanks to your experience in Compliance, you will be the perfect addition to the company.You will have an essential role within the organisation and your team and will follow the evolutions of legislation and regulations within the different compliance domains, such as: investor protection, product governance, advertising and publicity for banking and investment products, protection rules for borrowers, conflicts of interest, complaint handling, Privacy, inside information and market abuse.

Your main responsibilities as the new Compliance Conduct and Risk Expert will include:

  • Following relevant laws and regulations and ensuring that internal policies, procedures and guidelines for head office and agents are in place and updated in a timely manner
  • Analysing these laws and regulations, and in the event of shortcomings, informing management together with the compliance officer and developping action plans
  • Following up on the action plans and reporting on this to the compliance officer
  • Following up the implementation projects of legislation and regulations, and providing advice on various proposals from the operational services
  • Validating your investment product and commercial training from the point of view of the compliance domains
  • Representing the compliance function in committees and working groups, and participating in internal and external compliance reporting

Agent Oversight Analyst

A financial institution offering a wide range of services, is looking for a new Agent Oversight Analyst within the Legal & Compliance team.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with regulations and mitigating risks related to anti-money laundering, counter-terrorist financing, fraud, and customer due diligence.Working closely with the Agent Oversight Team in Brussels, you will engage with agents, conduct due diligence, and contribute to maintaining a robust control environment.

Responsibilities as an Agent Oversight Analyst:

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of our programs and the agent/customer base throughout their lifecycle.
  • Conduct ongoing communication with agents regarding outsourced activities.
  • Monitor outsourced activities, implement yearly control plans for each agent, and organize regular agent audits.
  • Escalate issues with agents and handle customer or authorities' escalations.
  • Perform due diligence on customers, agents, suppliers, or third parties, including regular risk assessments.
  • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reporting on various subjects and handle bespoke requests.
  • Collaborate closely with the AML Team, AMLCO, and other departments, as well as the financial crime team in the UK.
  • Liaise with Belgian authorities, including the NBB and CTIF, and French authorities like ACPR and Tracfin.
  • Report to management across all areas of responsibility with clear Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

IT Project Manager

The IT Project Manager is responsible for executing the project, to achieve the project objectives and optimum results, in compliance with the requirements formulated in the business case and in the project initiation document (PID), in terms of quality, performance, cost, delivery and security.

He / She is accountable for maintaining the progress and the productive interactions of the project stakeholders in order to reduce or eliminate the overall risk of failure of the project.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the IT Applications Manager his / her key responsibilities are:

PROJECT PLANNING :

  • Review the project Initiation Document (PID) to ensure accuracy at the start of the project
  • Formulate an adapted project plan to reach the project objectives and benefits within the defined frame:
    • Refine the project business case if required
    • Refine the project scope, schedule, activities, milestones and main expected deliverables
    • Refine the project budget if required
    • Identify detailed project team, resources and allocation
    • Engage stakeholders and define roles and responsibilities
    • Define a communication strategy between project stakeholders and set up project governance and instances
    • Define and indicate applicable quality procedures (issue management, risk management, escalation management, deliverables acceptance…)
    • Highlight project interdependencies with other projects

PROJECT EXECUTION MANAGEMENT:

  • Organize and hold project execution kick-off meeting,
  • Ensure commitment to the project from project team members, customers or stakeholders
  • Execute the project plan from planning to closing
  • Organize, coordinate and lead the project team and activities
  • Manage resources, develop schedules and individual responsibilities to perform project activities
  • Pilot and manage project costs and budget
  • Supervise suppliers in charge of project activities, manage relationships with the suppliers (from signature of the contract to final validation of the project or activity deliverable)
  • Supervise and monitor project progress against project plan
  • Coordinate, summarize and ensure the quality of issued approvals and deliverables
