As an inventory coordinator your focus is to make the process of restocking finished goods for the CDC more efficient by fostering a strong and proactive partnership with their suppliers.This not only helps them meet their operational goals in safety, health, environment (SHE), quality, service, cost, and people but also adds a positive touch to their daily tasks, including the careful management of finished products destined for export.
Tasks:
* You foster and actively maintain strong collaboration with both their suppliers and local factory to enhance the efficiency of the replenishment process.
* You proactively monitor the timely and complete availability of purchased products in coordination with subsidiaries and external suppliers.
* You proactively track the timely and complete availability of manufactured products in coordination with their local planning and production departments.
* You collaborate on both internal and external transport planning alongside their shipping department.
* You engage in collaborative efforts related to warehousing and loading activities with the warehouse department.
* You reduce the number of complaints directed towards suppliers to elevate their overall service level, incorporating the development and tracking of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
* You ensure the efficient administrative treatment and follow-up of Purchase Orders, Backorders, and Rush orders.
* You manage stock effectively, considering principles such as FIFO, aging, service level, and stock level.
* You administer the resolution of non-conformities, including returns to vendors and product destruction processes.
* You ensure compliance with all applicable legal regulations and international food safety standards, encompassing safety, working conditions, environment, and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP).
* You act as a backup for the material planner when necessary.
