Je taken omvatten onder meer:

  • Ondersteunen bij het implementeren en handhaven van compliance-programma's en -procedures.
  • Assisteren bij het uitvoeren van interne controles en audits om naleving te waarborgen.
  • Bijdragen aan het opstellen en bijwerken van documenten en procedures met betrekking tot regelgeving en compliance.
  • Bijstaan bij het beheer van KYC (Know Your Customer) en AML (Anti Money Laundering) processen.
  • Helpen bij het onderzoeken van verdachte activiteiten en het rapporteren van bevindingen aan het management.
  • Assisteren bij het uitvoeren van regelmatige controles en audits om te verzekeren dat alle operationele processen en procedures voldoen aan de wettelijke vereisten en interne richtlijnen.
  • Het verstrekken van training en educatie aan medewerkers over compliance-kwesties en het bevorderen van de cultuur van naleving binnen de organisatie.
  • Het opstellen en beheren van KPI's om de toepassing van de procedures en beleidslijnen op te volgen en indien nodig aan te passen.
  • Breed communiceren met het personeel en rapporteren over de naleving van de procedures aan het management.

Doel van de functie

De rol van een Compliance Officer bestaat erin ervoor te zorgen dat de voorschriften en procedures van het Agentschap van de Federale Schuld correct worden toegepast.Hij controleert de naleving en werkt de documentatie over de procedures bij.

Hij zorgt ervoor dat de organisatie legaal en ethisch handelt, zodat de reputatie en integriteit van het Agentschap worden beschermd.

De Compliance Officer treedt ook op als Data Protection Officer (DPO).

Taken

De belangrijkste taken van de Compliance Officer zijn :

  • het compliance programma binnen het Agentschap creëren en instellen ;
  • de correcte uitvoering van het programma door het personeel van het Agentschap toepassen en controleren;
  • het instellen en waarborgen van het beleid inzake de bestrijding van het witwassen van geld en financiering van terrorisme ;
  • het aanspreekpunt zijn voor verzoeken i.v.m."Know Your Customer", FATCA, CRS, enz.
  • het aanspreekpunt zijn voor conformiteitkwesties met betrekking tot tegenpartijen van het Koninkrijk België;
  • het controlesysteem opzetten voor de lijst van landen en personen waarop een embargo rust en toezien op de uitvoering ervan;
  • de informatie en databanken van het Agentschap analyseren om de naleving van de wetgeving te garanderen;
  • Amerikaanse burgers identificeren en zorgen voor FATCA-rapportering in het kader van het Grootboek;
  • zorgen voor regelgevend toezicht op de verantwoordelijkheidsgebieden van de Compliance Officer en, indien nodig, de leden van de organisatie op de hoogte houden en bijwerken;
  • beheren en bijhouden van de documentatie over de regelgeving die van toepassing is op het Agentschap en zijn activiteiten, met name in fiscale zaken;
  • de verwerking van persoonsgegevens analyseren, controleren en evalueren om ervoor te zorgen dat de regelgeving inzake de bescherming van persoonsgegevens wordt nageleefd.
